Refund policy

*Please note we only do returns or exchanges on stock items. You cannot return or exchange a 'made to order', 'pre-order' or 'sale' item, unless the item is deemed to be faulty.

We are a small business and make all items in-house and therefore do not carry a large amount of stock, it is for this reason that we ask that you consider your purchases carefully and check sizing before purchase. Returns & exchange policy

If you are within the EU and would like to return or exchange any of your full priced items you may do so within 7 days of receiving the product. Items returned outside this period will not be accepted.

Customers outside of the EU who wish to return or exchange full priced items, please contact us immediately so that we can assist with your return.


Items must:

·Be in original condition

·Be in original packaging

·Have original tags still attached

·Not have been worn, damaged or washed


PDF Patterns


If you would like to return your digital product due to change of mind or another similar reason we offer refunds or exchanges within 7 days of purchase only if the download link in your purchase email has not been activated.

If your download link has been activated then unfortunately we cannot offer a refund or exchange.

In the case of a faulty download link please contact info@birgittahelmersson.com so that we can assist you in sending a new download link. Emails are generally only checked monnday-friday so please allow up to 1-3 working days for a reply.



Sale items


Sale items will not be eligible for return (refund or exchange) unless the item is deemed faulty. For this reason, we ask that you consider your purchases carefully.


 

Return Freight


You are responsible for the cost of returning items, unless the item is deemed faulty or the incorrect item has been sent – in which case the cost of return shipping will be refunded once processed. Return shipping must be prepaid via a traceable service; we recommend registered post.


How to return


Please follow these steps to return a purchase.


1. Read the above returns policy to ensure that the item is eligible for return

2. Contact us via email at info@birgittahelmersson.com with your:

· Order number

· Reason for wanting a return

· Style(s) for which you are seeking a return

· And whether you would like a refund, exchange or credit note issued where applicable

If requesting an exchange, please include the preferred style/size/colour that you would like.

3. Once your return/exchange has been approved please pack up the item and include your original invoice for proof of purchase and send return to:

4. Once the item arrives back to us the appropriate action will take place:

· Refund – in the case of a refund your will be credited to the original payment method. This may take up to 10 days.

· Exchange – in the case of an exchange the new item for exchange will be sent to you once the original item has arrived back to us.

· Credit note issued – in the case of a credit note this will be issued once the item for a credit note has arrived back to us. The credit note will be issued in the form of a voucher which can be redeemed at the checkout and is valid for 12 months.
