Returns & exchange policy

 

If you are in Australia and would like to return or exchange any of your full priced items, you may do so within 7 days of receiving the product. Items received outside this period will not be accepted.

International customers who wish to return or exchange full priced items, please contact us immediately so that we can assist with your return as we understand that items may take longer than 7 days toget back to us.

 

Items must:

·      Be in saleable condition

·      Be in original packaging

·      Have original tags still attached

·      Not have been worn, damaged or washed

 

Sale items

 

Sale items will not be eligible for return (refund or exchange) unless the item is deemed faulty. For this reason, we ask that you consider your purchases carefully.

 

 

Return Freight

 

You are responsible for the cost of returning items, unless the item is deemed faulty or the incorrect item has been sent – in which case the cost of return shipping will be refunded once processed. Return shipping must be prepaid via a traceable service; we recommend registered post.

 

How to return

 

Please follow these steps to return a purchase.

 

1.     Read the above returns policy to ensure that the item is eligible for return

2.     Contact us via email at info@birgittahelmersson.com with your:

·      Order number

·      Reason for wanting a return

·      Style(s) for which you are seeking a return

·      And whether you would like a refund, exchange or credit note issued where applicable

If requesting an exchange, please include the preferred style/size/colour that you would like.

3.     Include your original invoice for proof of purchase and send return to:

4.     Your return will be assessed and if approved the appropriate action will take place:   

·      Refund – your refund will be credited to the original payment method. This may take up to 10 days.

·      Exchange

·      Credit note issued

 

Shipping & Delivery

 

Order Processing

 

Orders placed will be dispatched within 3 business days. You will receive a shipping confirmation email as soon as the order is processed and leaves the studio. Once the order has been confirmed we will be unable to make changes to that order including delivery location.

 

Shipping within Australia

 

Flat rate fee of $10 express shipping via Australia Post.

Please allow 1-3 working days once the order has been shipped.

 

Shipping outside of Australia

 

Flat rate fee of AUD $20 via Australia Post.

Please allow 5-15 working days once the order has been shipped.

 

Taxes & Duties

 

Unfortunately, we cannot be held accountable for any extra taxes or duties which may be applied by customs in the country in which your order will be delivered. This responsibility rests with the customer.

Please contact your local customs office for more information regarding taxes and duties payable in your region.

 

Delivery

 

All orders will require a signature upon delivery, if you are unable to sign for the delivery a family member or colleague may do so on your behalf. Alternatively, a notice will be left notifying you of alternate delivery or pick-up arrangements.

Delivery to PO Boxes is not permitted.

For your convenience, you may choose to have your order delivered to your work address. If choosing this option, please make sure to include the name of the business in the address and note who the goods may be received by (reception or otherwise) in the event that you cannot personally accept the delivery.
